Patients in Focus will be an exclusive series of live lectures, presentations and panel discussions dedicated to the biggest stakeholder in healthcare — the patient. Through a mixture of headline sessions, open discussions and brand-new session formats, this series will focus on exploring and enhancing the relationship between healthcare professionals and patients, with a particular focus on the role of radiology in patient care.
Patients in Focus will feature inspirational and insightful talks from patients, radiologists, and radiographers, as well as clinicians and representatives from other medical fields. It will seek to pinpoint exactly what patients want from their doctors and how our care for them can be improved.
The event is open for free to the public to anyone wishing to learn more about healthcare, radiology and patient care. There will be sessions in both English and German (view programme and our special highlights below for more information).

The final session of Patients in Focus is aimed at local patients from Vienna wishing to learn more about radiology and its relevance to the patient during their care.
Led by a group of experienced Austrian radiologists, this session will feature an exclusive virtual visit to a radiology department. Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask real radiologists any questions they might have about radiology or healthcare.
